Littleton Historic Museum
November 3, 2009 - I was able to go along on Aubri's kindergarten field trip to The Littleton Historic Museum. Aubri and I had never been there before. I thought it was great! The kids had a good time learning about what life was like during the 1800's and early 1900's. They got to watch as a blacksmith shaped several different pieces of metal in the fire and they even got to visit a little one-room schoolhouse - complete with a sweet, little, old lady who was playing the part of 19th century school teacher beautifully. The whole thing seemed like a scene straight out of Little House on the Prairie!
